A Legacy of Brewing Excellence
Owner and Brewmaster Mike Corrie has spent nearly thirty years in the highly competitive beer industry. His journey began with specialized training under a German Master Brewer, where he perfected his first recipe for a traditional Czech Pilsner. Ten years ago, Mike brought that expertise to our local community, establishing Stone House as the first craft brewery in Huron County. What started with a single flagship pour has grown into a destination for anyone who appreciates the patient art of a well-made lager.
A Commitment to Premium Ingredients
Quality at Stone House is defined by the ingredients we choose. Mike began his lineup with the premium SAAZ noble hop, a choice usually reserved for the world’s finest pilsners. He has since expanded that commitment to every beer in our selection, from our flagship Czech Pilsner to our German Dark Lager and Bavarian Lager. By utilizing these premium hops and traditional methods, we ensure that every can delivers a clean, flavourful profile that stays true to its European roots.
A Landscape Built for Lagers
Our brewery is situated on a sprawling parcel of land just five minutes east of Bayfield and an hour north of London. We have worked tirelessly to transform the property into a true destination where the beautiful country setting is the star of the show. Whether you are relaxing under our covered outdoor patio, gathering with friends in the large event tent, or enjoying a game on the lawn, the grounds are designed for guests of all ages to settle in and stay a while.
